Reformation has always been more than a brewery β itβs a gathering place. From the very beginning, our founders envisioned a space where families could come together, connect with neighbors, and share moments that matter. As our taprooms continue to grow and welcome more families, itβs important we take a moment to reflect on what it truly means to be βfamily-friendly.β
β
Below, a note from our CEO, Spencer, on why that vision still matters β and how we can all help ensure Reformation remains a safe, welcoming, and joyful space for everyone.

“When Reformation started nearly 12 years ago, the debate around being a family-friendly venue was robust. I was adamant that it had to be for us to live out our values and vision. Few things have given me more joy as CEO than seeing families with kids away from their screens, enjoying our spaces together, bonding with each other, their neighbors, and their community. One great unintended consequence is that kids are some of the best “coolers” in the business, helping keep our community-centric vibe here in the burbs.
As we’ve established ourselves in our community over the last decade, we’re honored that families feel very comfortable having their children at Reformation. With that comfort comes the imperative that we keep the experience safe and enjoyable for all. Our venues are built well, but they’re not indestructible. The majority of our crew and customers are patient and kind, but they’re not responsible for parenting or babysitting children. That is the responsibility of parents and guardians. So we are updating our family-friendly policy and ask for the support of our community to help maintain the experience we’ve all come to know and love at Reformation.
We love you, we love your kids, and we simply want to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all. Hold your drinks close, and your kids closer. Thank you!” – Spencer, CEO
