Story hour for Grownups

In Good Company is a Thursday night storytelling and ideas series hosted at Reformation Canton. Think of it like Story Hour but for Grownups.

Each gathering features people sharing stories, perspectives, and experiences worth listening to — thoughtful, funny, human, and accessible. Some nights lean reflective, some joyful, some curious — all pair well with beer and good company.

This is not an academic lecture series. It’s a space for grown-ups to gather, listen, and connect.

📍 Reformation Brewery — Canton
🕖 Thursdays at 7pm (once a month)
🍺 Drinks available. Curiosity required.

These are ideas we think make for meaningful, fun, or memorable nights together. They’re not requirements—just sparks. Presentations can be storytelling, visual essays, talks, or guided conversations. This is not an academic lecture series—clarity, warmth, and audience connection matter more than credentials.

Become a Speaker

We’re inviting storytellers, creatives, professionals, and thoughtful humans to be part of Good Stories, Better Beer, an ongoing speaker and storytelling series at Reformation Brewery.

We’re looking for:

  • – Clear ideas that connect with people
  • – Stories rooted in lived – experience, curiosity, or insight
  • – Warm, engaging delivery (not academic lectures)
  • – Topics that spark reflection, laughter, or meaningful conversation

Formats can include storytelling, visual presentations, short talks, or guided reflections. Slides are optional. Credentials are not required — clarity and connection matter more.

If your idea feels like something people would enjoy hearing over a beer on a Friday night, we’d love to hear from you. What we’re building is a room full of adults sharing meaning, curiosity, humor, and humanity over beer.

That means the content should feel:

  • – Personal but not confessional
  • – Smart but not academic
  • – Thoughtful but not preachy
  • – Inviting rather than intimidating

Here’s what to expect:

  • – Location: Reformation Brewery — Canton
  • – Day & Time: Thursday evening, 7:00pm start
  • – Format: ~30 minutes to share your story or talk, followed by a short guided conversation
  • – Visuals: Optional — we have projector capability if you’d like to use it

Please allow 7-10 business days for your application to be reviewed. A “no” response does not mean never, so feel free to reapply in 3 months if you don’t get selected on a first try. Multiple applications for different topics are welcome.
