Don't Waste A Day Without Laughter (& Beer)

The definition of a balanced diet? A pint in each hand. (Sorry–we couldn’t resist.) In case you haven’t heard, laughing is good for you.

A good laugh has been known to lower blood pressure, reduce stress, improve cardiac health and frankly, just feels good. Laughter can even increase your overall sense of well-being. Surveys show that people who have a positive outlook on life tend to fight diseases better than people who tend to be negative.

And if you’re laughing with a beer in hand, there are improved benefits for combining the two. Some studies show that consuming beer in moderation has health benefits, too. These include decreasing the risk of heart disease and stroke, increasing good cholesterol, strengthening your bones, a lowered risk of diabetes and improved eye health.

For us, humor is important. Playfulness is important. Moments of laughter are important. We often find acceptance and fuel connection through laughter. It can take the stress of the day away in seconds, and allow a person to get out of their own head for long enough to re-center, refocus and find joy in all circumstances of life.
