Lamar was born and raised in New Orleans. He grew up around backyard seafood boils. He performed his first seafood boil in his early teens. Instead of meteorological seasons, New Orleans has festival season, football season, carnival season, and craw-fish season! When Lamar moved to Atlanta eight years ago, he was able to continue all the seasons except for craw-fish season. He decided to bring it to Atlanta himself. For the past five or six years, he’s done boils exclusively in backyard settings for family and friends, but with life changes in 2020 he decided it was time to scale up. Hence, Cajun King Catering was born in 2021! Join us on Saturday, April 10th for a craw-fish boil in Canton!
