REFORMATION BREWERY
New Location in Downtown Woodstock Coming 2018

The 6,000-square-foot, five-barrel brewhouse will come to 105 Elm Street, Woodstock, GA as a research and development brewery with 2 public bars serving 16 to 24 unique beers at any given time. The new location will become Reformation Brewery’s primary taproom and event space for Woodstock, with brewery production continuing at their existing space.

“We envision a maker space where customers can see, smell, and hear how we make beer. While also activating the green space as a place for community and conversations to grow organically. Just like hosting a party in your backyard, we see this location as Woodstock’s backyard hangout spot,” says CEO and co-founder Spencer Nix.

When is the expected open date? We are now open and serving limited offerings while we ramp up production at our new location in downtown woodstock. Save the date for our Grand Opening on Saturday, Oct. 6th as we kickoff our 5th Anniversary celebrations!

What are key features inside the new space? Research & Development brewery! 2 public bars serving 16 to 24 unique beers at any given time. A large outdoor green space under a historic Elm tree will be adjacent to the brewery.  Decks with picnic tables will line overlook the green. Inside you will find three different gathering spaces. The Keeping Room will be a thriving atmosphere where the public meets for beers. A few steps up into the next level will lead to a quieter zone we call the Study, where guests will find booths, sofas, and chairs flanking a second bar. Opposite of the Study is a gathering hall with games, a giant screen, and room for a singer songwriter to perform.

What’s the capacity? We’re still waiting on the final occupancy from fire officials, but we should be able to serve over 200 guests comfortably at any given time.

Can people reserve space for private events? We will offer table reservations for a fee for those who want to book a party, but it will not be private.

What sort of programming is planned for the new space? We will continue our weekly trivia and monthly game night, book club, and yoga events. We will also have live performers and of course plenty of beer & community focused events.

What will happen to the existing space? Our current space will continue to function as our Foundry where we manufacture products for market distribution.

What community tie ins are we excited about? We are really excited to activate the Market & Elm district of Woodstock. Main Street Woodstock has long held the public’s attention, but Woodstock’s Backyard is a wonderful spot to hang out. Being across from Elm Street Cultural Arts Village & Stage will generate a lot of partnership opportunities. The walking & biking trailhead for miles of paved trails is at the corner of our location and we look forward to working with our neighboring businesses to engage the public in unique ways.

Will the tree on the property be cut down?
We are going to get an arborist out to help us keep the tree healthy and give us a plan to keep it healthy. The tree is one of God’s trophies, we love it.

How does the recent law change affect this new space?
It allows the general public the ability to interact with an independent beer producer in ways that feel natural and fair to the consumer. No more forced ‘tours’ and much more of an approachable open market to explore new beer experiences.

What can we expect from Reformation in 2018?
You can expect us to always be reforming – offering new products, experiences, and moments to celebrate.
