Rosé all May… and beyond
Warmer weather is trending, and Atlanta is thinking pink – rosé shades to be exact. We’ll be celebrating, sipping, and chillin’ our way through May and beyond with these wine inspired treats.
King of Pops Rosé Slushy
Swing by Ponce City Market for a stop at King of Pops’ bar where they sell the PopTails in a range of delicious, boozy flavors. Stay cool with their Rosé slushy – a light, a slightly sweet, bubbly treat cool enough to keep you from melting during Georgia’s extreme heat.
We love their lighthearted approach to life, and that although King of Pops has grown a lot since their start in 2010, they’re committed to staying close to home. Their goal is to create unexpected moments of happiness, and that’s something we can raise a Frosé to. (Pinkys out.)
Jeni’s Frosé Sorbet
Linger in the freezer aisle for Jeni’s Frosé sorbet, a Sangria-style frozen rosé with pear, strawberry, and watermelon. Refreshing and bright with a tinge of tartness, this frozen treat is “great topped with your favorite sparkling wine, a shot of tequila, or even more rosé.”
For their Frosé Sorbet, Jeni’s base is a fruity rosé filled with notes of bright strawberry, subtle blackberry jam, and hints of lemon zest, which give it crisp acidity and a dry, refreshing finish. Paired with a pint of our Rosé Ale, and you might just have the perfect “cheers.”
Alani The Lighthearted is a rosé inspired beer with a dry, slightly tart, light bodied finish at 4.7% ABV. Low alcohol and made for lighthearted moments, this easy drinking addition to our family of beers will reform your expectations.
With hints of cranberry tartness, soft wine tannins, and floral hibiscus hues, this hybrid ale brings wine and beer together for an intriguing, quirky result that is sure to lift your spirits. Enjoy this limited release offering while it lasts at independent retailers near you.
La Fetê du Rosé
Join us for a picnic in the park and a taste of our Rosé Ale, Alani The Lighthearted, this Saturday, May 5th at Atlanta’s first rosé festival, La Fetê du Rosé. La Fête du Rosé is a celebration of all things rosé, including the wines, champagne, and lifestyle. Held in Atlanta’s historic Old Fourth Ward, attendees will be able to experience onsite offerings such as live music headlined by DJ Cassidy, frozé, champagne, rosé cocktails, as well as curated picnic baskets by Chef Kelis (yes, that Kelis, the Grammy award-winning singer).
