The Mayor of Woodstock recently proclaimed Friday, July 1st, 2016 as the official Set Beer Free Day in the City of Woodstock, GA. Join us as we celebrate the good gift of beer with all communities. Cheers to those who stay vigilant, stand together, drink well, and demand better!

WHEREAS, Reformation Brewery was born in Cherokee County through a community with a vision to redeem beer culture and celebrate moments that are celebrated within that community; and

WHEREAS, on October 31, 2013 Reformation brewed their first batch at their new commercial facility in downtown Woodstock which was tapped at Freight Kitchen and Tap on Christmas Eve; and

WHEREAS, Reformation has grown from producing 500 barrels per year in 2013 to 4500 barrels per year currently, has invested in innovation and sustainability in brewing and manufacturing processes and has become a regional tourism destination through visitors to the Keeping Room; and

WHEREAS, Due to this significant growth and innovation, the State of Georgia recognized Reformation Brewery as one of five Small Business Rockstar Award winners in February 2016

NOW, THEREFORE the Mayor and Council of the City of Woodstock, Georgia, does hereby proclaimFriday July 1, 2016 as “SET BEER FREE DAY” in the City of Woodstock to support the vision of Reformation Brewery and their commitment to investment in the Woodstock community; to celebrate the receipt of the award from the State of Georgia; and to congratulate their tremendous past and continued success!
